RISE & SHINE - Two floors, two totally different types of music. Firstly downstairs, this is our long running Indie night with Dj's Dik & Nige bringing you the best of the current Indie/Alternative scene + a host of classics from the Madchester and Brit Pop era's.

Currently on this night you should expect to here music from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Libertines, Kasabian, Kooks, Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight, Kings Of Leon, The Enemy, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Blur, Charlatans, Oasis, Pulp,The Strokes, White stripes, Editors, Bloc Party, Klaxons, Arcade Fire, Hard-Fi, Babyshambles, Milburn, The Rifles, Doves, Smiths, Kinks, Beatles, Who, Muse, Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy etc. We try our best to incorporate something for everybody hence the wide spectrum of music played, from the real cutting edge of things, to the old favourites that everybody knows and loves. RISE & SHINE is an ever evolving night that takes account of the constantly changing music and fashion scenes. It's aim is to stay at the fore front of things but with out forgetting the roots within which the night first started. FUNK U - In contrast to the sounds on offer downstairs on a Saturday night upstairs is a total change of scene altogether with a soundtrack of Funk, Disco, Groovy Soul numbers and other cool vibes. Funk U has a good following that are well up on the music offered by master funksters such as the irrepressible James Brown and George Clinton. The Rhythmic bass lines pound out to the captivated crowds in the warm and friendly atmosphere. Expect to find yourself on the dancefloor gyrating to the sounds of Chic, Sister Sledge, Kool & The Gang, Soul II Soul, The Jackson's, and other Kings and Diva's of the Funk and Disco scene. Funk U has a real 70's feel about it but there's vibes on offer from all the decades including up to date sounds. Basically if it feels funky we play it but don't take our word for it come down and sample the night for yourselves.
